What to wear

You can wear whatever you want as long it does not put pressure to or damage the stoma bag. With a little tip, you will have little less to worry about what to wear.

Keeping the bottom of the stoma bag in the underwear will not affect the function of the stoma. If you feel uncomfortable that the stoma bag touches your skin directly, you can make a hole in the underwear to keep the stoma bag waist bag outside your underwear or use a pouch cover.

Tips for dressing comfortably

• If the stoma interferes with the waist band or the belt of the pants, you can choose to use suspenders or adjust the waist line according to the position of the stoma.
• You can wear clothes with loose waist line.
• If you feel uncomfortable that the stoma bag sticks to the skin, you can make a hole in the underwear for the stoma bag or use a pouch cover.
